Finding your Gateway and DNS addresses - Windows

To determine this information on a Windows PC, first open a command prompt (or "DOS Box" for the older crowd).

Just type "cmd" (without the quotes) into your "Run" window (Windows 7 is shown as the example below), then press

"Enter".

You will get a command prompt. Type in the command

ipconfig /all

and press the enter key. Depending on your system configuration, you may get a lot of text on the screen. This is

normal.
